From VHS short films in the 90s,  and skate videos shot on Mini-DV in the 2000s, to commercial productions shot with robot cameras today– Thales Banzai brings taste, distinction, and a florid paintbrush to his work across all mediums.

 Starting his career at leading Brazilian production companies like Paranoid and Conspiração- Thales directed commercials for companies such as: Avon, Nike, Google, Natura, Nike, and P&G. Thales' documentaries and short films have screened in international film festivals.

Thales is currently developing a suspense anthology series which will be his first feature film. He will also publish his first graphic novel, SELVA,  in 2024. Currently his head is in Los Angeles, his heart is in Brazil, and his hands can be found wherever there is work to be done.
