Alexander Cody Nguyen is an LA-based director & photographer who makes work to explore and counter the Western gaze on Asian beauty and place in the United States.


 Having just started photography in 2019 and directing in 2021, Alexander has already begun working with select brands such as Nike, Burberry, Adidas, Rayban, Meta, Reebok, Tommy Hilfiger, Sam’s Club, Billionaire Boys Club, Zadig & Voltaire, Quiksilver, Apple Music, The Webster, Topicals, and Article One.

Additionally, he has also worked with the following select established editorials: i-D, W Mag, Dazed, GQ, CR Fashion Book, V Mag, the New York Times, and artists such as Kevin Hart, Phoebe Bridgers, J. Balvin, Alicia Keys, KeKe Palmer, Bad Bunny, Madelyn Cline, and Japanese Breakfast.
